I am a professionally trained Childbirth Instructor and Birth Doula.  I have been teaching  childbirth classes since 2005 

I have always been interested in pregnancy and birth, but my career took me in another direction.  Then we became pregnant with our first child and I became passionate to learn all that I could about pregnancy and birth.  My husband, Matt, and I were fortunate to find an enthusiastic instructor, who taught us all we needed to know to have a natural birth.  We loved our class and have since had two wonderful, natural births in a hospital with a midwife and doctor. 

Not long after our first birth, I decided to become a Childbirth Instructor and teach others how to have a healthy pregnancy and a gentle, fulfilling birth experience.  I am dedicated to providing expectant couples with the knowledge, confidence and patience needed to have a wonderful birth.
