I teach childbirth classes because I believe they are vital to every new parent. When I first became pregnant, I did research to find the most comprehensive childbirth class in the area, and that led me to discover these classes. My husband and I have had two amazing positive birth experiences with our children which have brought us closer together. I became a childbirth educator because I knew that I wanted to help other couples experience that same wonderful feeling and easy recovery that I did with my births.

 I also love to teach, and I have previous experience teaching at the college level. I am active in the Denver birth community, so I keep up with the latest research, and I am well-informed about community resources available to pregnant women and new parents.

In my previous life, I was an engineer, and I have a BS and MS in Materials Science and Engineering, from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, and going hiking, backpacking, and camping.
